Songs in the Key of Grace

Sacred Hope Of Dawn

Sacred Hope of Dawn

Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Christ is always knocking at the door. He will not force His way in. We are the ones who must open the door to let Him in. And when we open the door, we begin an intimate relationship with Him, filling us with joy and peace and wiping away our tears.

Lyrics

Everyone in this world, no matter their station, has feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Though this empty feeling is inherent in mankind, that’s when the Spirit reaches, as God tries again to find …
A crack in our hardened hearts to let Him still our fears, filling us with joy and peace and wiping away tears.
So, open your hardened heart and let God enter in. His love invites our walk with Him to joyously begin.
As long as we let God prevail with footsteps sure and true, His Word will light our darkest hours bringing us heaven’s view.
God’s grace allows our faith to find the peace we thought was gone. His truth and light endow each night with sacred hope of dawn.
